I know I have to pray to have the heart of Jesus because I seldom WANT to please Him. I try to please Him because I know I should. It would be wonderful to naturally want to do the right thing all the time without feeling like its a chore or sacrifice. I never felt that passion for Jesus even when I was trying to get to know Him and be like Him. I did all the things I was told a good Christian was supposed to do and I truly WANTED to know Him intimately. What Happened? Maybe I decided I wanted to have a little control of my life, which doesn’t seem like a bad thing, but I guess it is.
