Gary Taylor – Founding Pastor – Faithfully served at SCCC for 10 years
It was Gary’s passion, vision and love for God that led him to gather with a group of committed Jesus followers and begin to live out God’s call on their lives. Gary envisioned a place where spiritual seekers could come and feel comfortable hearing the timeless truths of God’s word communicated in culturally relevant ways. He imagined a place where we could all use our unique gifts to Help People Say Yes to God!  In August of 2009 Gary and the leadership team, after much prayer and discussion, came to the realization that God was releasing him from SCCC.  As Gary preached in his last sermon, “all leaders are on loan”. We are forever grateful for his time with us. We remain committed to helping lost people understand and embrace the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
