HOMELESS BREAKFAST: On Saturday, January 28th from 5:45am – 8:15am, SCCC will make and serve breakfast to the homeless through the Mercy Meals Ministry at Pilgrim United Church’s Soup Kitchen located on School St. in New Bedford.  Please sign up at church or contact Tom DeCosta at tom@sccc.org if you are interested in assisting.

 

TEEN CHALLENGE PROVIDENCE WOMEN’S HOME:  On Sunday, January 29th, the ladies from Teen Challenge will be joining us at SCCC.  They will be sharing their testimonies of how God is working in their lives.

 

MORNING PRAYER:  Join us for prayer at 10:00am every Sunday morning before the service. We meet at the front of the auditorium by the piano to put God first and seek His will in all we do here at SCCC.

 

YOUTH GROUPEvery Friday Night from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.  The group meets at the church as well as other locations.  Check the Facebook page for meeting information and location week to week.  This group is for all youth in 6th-12th grades.  Please contact Jamie Casey at Jamie@sccc.org  with any questions.

 

BARNABAS MINISTRY:  We are now collecting non-perishable food items for our next Food Distribution Day. Donations can be dropped off in our SCCC food bank bin located at the back of the church.  If you know someone who could benefit from one of our food baskets, or if you have any questions or would like to help with our Food Distribution, please contact Dianne Fortin-Curtin at dfcurtin@comcast.net.


SNACKS FOR SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP:  If you would like to bring in a baked good for our Fellowship time after Sunday services, please see Cathy Ortiz or contact her atcathy@sccc.org

 

NURSING HOME MINISTRY:  On Thursday, January 19th from 10:30am – 11:30am, SCCC is invited to spend an hour of fellowship with the residents of the Sippican Nursing Home in Marion.  This is an opportunity to be a tremendous blessing and show God’s love to people who can be very lonely.
